An insight into the nature of true gratitude

True gratitude arises within the individual when they can see the development that each event in their life brought to them. It exists as a result of the resolution of all internal conflicts.

At this particular period of human history, many people have arrived at the point where they have come to clearly see the benefits that arise for them by developing themselves. Therefore, as a part of this realisation, many people have begun engaging with various different modes of therapy, as well as integrating some spiritual practice or having some spiritual belief as a part of their lives. Essentially, at a fundamental level, we find that the individual is engaging with developing themselves in order to become more conscious and, by doing so, their thoughts, words and deeds will also naturally become more conscious as a result of their development.

It is natural then that, at the same time that we start to become more aware of the benefits gained by engaging with these activities, the options and methods which are presented to us claiming to help us make progress with this process have also become more prolific. This is a natural part of the process itself, from the perspective that there must be a variety of different options available to people to engage with. Understanding the reasons as to why this is the case is coincidentally part of the process of developing ourselves.
