Do You Believe In Love?
A poem that inspires us to not give up on love, even though the journey may be challenging
A Poem
Do You Believe In Love?
A question exists within us all,
Sometimes we can lose our wherewithal,
Challenges always come to test,
This feeling inside, try to put it to rest.
In our hearts we know it though,
The challenges there to help us grow,
To establish inside beyond reasonable doubt,
The answer to the question which this poem is about.
To come to see the answer made manifest,
Before the end must come the test,
Which does exist only to show,
The power of this thing which we all know.
To the reader who still feels a doubt,
A kind word, not yet time to tap out,
Closer to the finish line you are,
Then what may appear in Life’s grimoire.
When this feeling inside becomes,
Alive, it sounds just like beating drums,
The rhythm of your life it plays,
Forever within you, a part of you it stays.
Meditation For The Poem
Although many people are unaware of it, their spiritual path or self developmental process has the question of whether they believe in love lying at the core of the whole process. This is made somewhat more difficult to see in the modern age because the concept of love is usually considered only from the perspective of romantic relationships. Once we clear our perception considerably though, we come to see that the concept of love is really the conscious realisation of the interconnection which is inherent between all things. When this connection is realised between two people then it may manifest as a romantic relationship, but this is not always the case.
