Peering behind the veil of the apparent differences between political ideologies

Our fascination with needing to label what a political system is removes us from being able to implement a system which is truly balanced.

The political debate has been raging on for thousands of years. The systems we have instated for governing us seem to have varied over different periods of our collective history. It is likely that throughout human history there has never been a period of time when there has been a consensus on what the perfect governmental system is and why. All of this often results in a debate emerging around this topic of conversation.

This debate usually results in various people putting forward various different ideas with regards to what the best system is, usually each of these positions being justified by a number of logical and intelligible reasons. It is for this reason that the initial conception of any of these ideologies is naturally constrained and limited by the conscious perception of the individuals putting them forward, which is something we often do not even have the ability to recognize.

Any blocks that exist in their conscious perception will naturally be existent within the structure and core principles of that system. As the process of developing and implementing different systems has progressed and evolved over the years, certain positions have then become established and recognized as being in opposition to one another. Some of the more typical examples of this opposition being: communism and capitalism, the political left and the political right, and conservative and liberal ideologies, to mention just a few.
