Part 1: A Dedication To Life
Understanding how the act of dedication relates to us becoming more conscious in our lives
Understanding how the act of dedication relates to us becoming more conscious in our lives
This article is part of the Unified Consciousness Framework series. To gain the maximum benefit from reading this series it would be wise to read them sequentially.
This is the introduction to the set of articles which outlines the Unified Consciousness Framework. It is worth taking some time at the start to briefly explain to the reader how this framework came into being. It is only natural that as we develop ourselves and come more in touch with whatever lies at our core, the manifestation of that interior aspect of ourselves into our surroundings becomes increasingly refined. Much the same process occurred for me after I created the intention to come to realise the true nature of reality.
Initially, this took on the guise of leaving the previous life that I had been living behind. After some time trying and searching a variety of different avenues, I eventually became aware of a part of myself which was intent on also writing up my discoveries. So, this framework actually began its life as shorthand notes jotted down in a small notebook. I had been keeping these notes in order to make sense of, and integrate, the experiences which I had been going through as part of the journey of discovery that I was engaged with. It was as I collated these notes that I started to notice a framework begin to emerge which was able to point to the fundamental nature of the cosmos.
I expanded these original notes into articles so that I could firmly establish this framework as a part of my own conscious perception and internally realise it. These articles became so interconnected that they began to flow from one to the other in a sequential fashion, which was part of my process of coming to understand the whole. Once I had finished this part of the process, I arrived at the point where there was enough content to fill a large book.
Therefore, for anyone wondering what the Unified Consciousness Framework contains, the subtitle of the original book summarizes this in the most concise manner. This is a framework which outlines the unification of science, philosophy, religion, and spirituality, as well as outlining the complete internal realisation of the nature of consciousness. It is by covering the entirety of this framework that you will come to realise, not just intellectually but as an internal experience, the fundamental nature of the cosmos, consciousness, and yourself.
It was my hope that this framework would be a beneficial tool that could be used by other people looking to walk the same path that I had. I thought that this would be all that I wrote, but soon after completing the main body of the content I found that there was much more that I was inspired to write about. Not only was I inspired to write more, but I saw that it was also beneficial to give readers practical examples. These examples show to the reader how they may apply the principles contained in the framework as a lived experience in their own lives.
These examples and practical applications of the framework can be found in what has been named the Ancient Wisdom Talks. Additionally, there are also two other categories of articles: Poetry For The Soul and Pearls Of Wisdom, which use the principles outlined in the Unified Consciousness Framework as their basis. Essentially, everything I write uses the same framework as its basis, but the nature of the expression that this writing takes is different in each case. Therefore, if you are struggling to comprehend and internally realise the framework on its own, it will aid you to look at the other content available to bridge the gap between the intellectual concepts and your lived experience.
It is impossible to not repeat the core principles of the framework constantly throughout the various different pieces of content because these principles are so fundamental that they lie at the core of quite literally everything. The best way for anyone looking to develop themselves when approaching the content published here is to use all of the writings as tools that have each been made available to the seeker as part of one cohesive system. You can think of each of these modes of expression as if they were each a different tool in the tool set. Using the analogy of a carpenter to illustrate this, we can see that although an experienced carpenter may be able to use just one tool to make a piece of furniture, it is far easier for them to arrive at the finished result by using the full variety of tools available to them, as and where appropriate.
The framework is able to help us come to see the principles which are operating behind our experience of life, but even with the framework having been read, the realisation of these principles may still be elusive to some readers. Becoming aware of the process itself helps us to make progress with the process. It is in the Ancient Wisdom Talks, Poetry For The Soul, and Pearls Of Wisdom where we may find additional practical examples that bridge the gap between what we observe in our lives and what we have understood from the framework. Life is ultimately a lived experience, and so the framework must be practically applied in our lives for it to provide us with any real value.
A Dedication
As you may later come to understand, once you have fully integrated the framework, when beginning something new it is always important to take the time to set the proper conditions and intention. It is not just important that we take action and begin something, but it is also important with regards to how we begin it. It is the nature of its beginning which gives a certain quality to the impetus behind it. It is for this reason that I outline a dedication at the start of this framework. Just as one may consecrate a sacred space or temple once it has been built, in much the same way this dedication is my consecration of this space. This dedication encapsulates within it the impetus which has been placed behind this work and gives the reader some idea as to their trajectory when they spend time in it.
