What Is The Mind?

The mind is pure conscious awareness filtered through blocks in conscious perception, either consciously imposed or subconsciously existent.
Through the process of us investigating the world scientifically we eventually arrive at the intellectual understanding that everything is in fact one. We can think of the infamous equation E=mc2 as being a great indication of the existence of this truth. We then understand that this grand unity we interact with on a daily basis only appears to us to be a variety of different ‘things’. This realisation then brings with it a number of paradoxes that we become challenged by though, and which must eventually be resolved in order to make any further progress with our understanding of the true nature of these ‘things’.
One of these paradoxes rests on the premise that although we may understand this fact intellectually, our experience of life does not seem confirm this to us. This is because, even though we come in contact with such a wide variety of different ‘things’ each and every day, how we experience these ‘things’ is as them all being separate from one another. How could all of these ‘things’ possibly all be the same when our experience of each of them is so uniquely different?
